"What I like most about the software is the colorful and interactive interface that Monday.com has.


In addition, I really like being able to create my own project organization, editing the parameters of each column of the tables with deadlines, descriptions, responsible, status, among other parameters.

The ability to transform tabulated data into calendar and other visualization modes is another very positive point at Monday.com."

Cons: A negative experience I had with the software was in the calendar view mode, where it is not possible to adjust the zoom the way the user wants, which ends up cutting the view of some topics when there are many items on the same date."

"Once you're working in Monday... if you have a "group of items" (for example, a list of 1,000 leads), you should "collapse" that group before working in another one - it seems to operate a bit quicker when a BIG list of items is "collapsed" or hidden...

beyond that, everything works pretty flawlessly!

I came from using Airtable with a previous employer, and Monday.com is 100x easier to use, and better in all aspects, than Airtable was... do with that as you will, but this is really the King of all CRM/Task Management/PM platforms."

"If you've ever tried Airtable, you'll feel right at home with Stackby - the UI is very similar. For straightforward relational databases it's really quick and easy to use.

Stackby is really excellent value for money, especially if you nab a lifetime deal...

Though it Can be fussy about data typing (date formats etc) but nothing I couldn't work around.

Also once you stray off the beaten path from Zapier, Mailchimp and the like to more esoteric competition, it can get a bit more patchy. But for what it says on the tin, it's really great.

"The founder of Stackby, Rachit is super friendly and even mans the chat support personally, I had some doubt on how to use certain features in the software and blasted a message in the chat. I got a personal reply from the founder in less than 10 minutes!...

"There are actually two PM tools that I absolutely love - Nifty and Ora, however, as much as I love them, they're a bit too "technical" for the layman to use.

If you're not heavily invested in software development, they can be overwhelming, but ActiveCollab offers a really clean UI and superb UX that make onboarding new, casual users a breeze."

While I guess it can be seen as a 'smart' business decision, I think gating things like Invoicing behind a pay wall doesn't feel great as an end user. It's just the psychological aspect of it all, right? If you said I had to pay $7.50/month for a plan and then an additional $3/month for Invoicing, I would be less inclined versus just being asked to pay $10/month for everything.

I think the pigeon-holing of Invoicing being behind a plan that is also a price per member can also be a crux because the functionality doesn't really change between a 2 person operation and a 200 person operation, but the two would pay a crazy amount of difference ($6 vs. $600) just for Invoicing.. ActiveCollab slots in nicely as being a very viable, competitive solution. You just have to ask yourself if the pricing is worth it."

"The very first thing I would like to highlight is ActiveCollab's great, minimalist design. It is one of the most beautiful UI I have ever used. Everything is clearly and logically laid out and it doesn't take many clicks to get to the desired item.


While there are a few features I wish this had, Active Collab has been great at listening to their users by adding requested features. I greatly appreciate it!"

"We are able to track our time down to the specific task within projects. We can also label each project by client and bill clients based on the time we've specifically tracked for each task and project.


All of this tracking also allows for reporting to our clients - down to being able to let them know how much time was spent on each task.
